Once I decided to do Open Studios Tour in Los Osos again this year, everything changed.
Back to the garden says it all!
Tibet
I have worked to create Installations and environmental gardens in unusual spaces since 1970.
I am an environmentally challenged artist in Los Osos who has gone back to the garden as a resource.
“Restatement” is a recent series of artwork created outdoors from basic, essential elements; match stick carbon, oxides, rainwater, onion skin dyes, gauze and sunlight.
This restatement on a theme evolved from my series of folded clay forms, reproduced in Stone Lithographs,
and now sketched with burnt matchsticks on canvas and colorized.

My rustic fence and Crow Master sculptures became easels for seven paintings on a hot January day.
I have gone back to the garden in a year long sharing of how to cope with environmental challenges; personal and Universal.
You may view this collection of artwork, as announced in the New Times, at the Pacific Energy Company on Santa Barbara Street in SLO
only through the end of April.
The “Restatement” collection will be exhibited again in October in Los Osos.
My Goku Raku Garden will be on the 2010 Open Studios Art Tour in October
where I will be demonstrating my environmental paintings, printmaking, photography, sculpture, ceramics and experimental kilns.
